Compression is either lossy or lossless.

Lossless compression is nothing being lost but the whole thing is shrunk. PNG is a lossless compression.

Lossy is reducing the quality and the file size. JPEG is a lossy compression.

In this lesson, I tried to use Photoshop to create a double exposure image which is where an image is in the background of another image. I did this by:

opening my two images on Photoshop.

Then, I dragged one of my images onto the other which made them into one.

After that, I added one of the photos in the background of the other.

Then, I added text above and below it to show what it was about.

The tools I used were text, move tool and the crop tool.

The message behind my work is that you can be yourself in Hull and it is a good place.

A strength about my work is that i made two photos look like one. A weakness about my work is that there is a lot of white which could look quite boring.

I have chosen to study creative imedia because i like working with computers and its a job i would like to pursue in the future. In my first lesson, i have learnt about what creative imedia is and the courses i will be studying.

My favourite thing to do is to play football for my team in the Sunday league. I also like to come to school as i like to learn new things.
